ՆԱՐՕՏը հիմնադրուեցաւ 2014ին, Քալիֆորնիոյ մէջ, եւ կառավարութեան մօտ արձանագրուած է որպէս ո՛չ-շահաբեր եւ տուրքէ զուրկ հաստատութիւն մը (501 (c) 3 non-profit literary/educational organization)։

«ՆԱՐՕՏ»ի խմբակը կազմուած է անդամներէ, որոնք միացած են հայթայթելու կեդրոնացած ճիգ մը, օգնելու Հայորդիներուն, որպէսզի կարենան զարգացնել անձնական եւ գաղութային ինքնութիւն մը։ Միութիւնը զօրաւոր շեշտ կը դնէ ուսումի վրայ։ «ՆԱՐՕՏ»ը կեդրոն մըն է մտաւորականութեան, ուր այցելուն պիտի կարենայ քաղել այնպիսի օգուտ, որ իր կարգին պիտի ունենայ իր գաղութին օգտակար ըլլալու միջոց մը։

«ՆԱՐՕՏ»ի կայքէջով, պիտի քաջալերուի երկխօսութիւնը զանազան նիւթերու, ինչպէս՝ Աստուածաբանական, պատմական, լեզուաբանական, գիտական, առողջապահական, եւյլն. եւ այսպէս՝ կը զարգանայ մտածողականութիւնը մեր մէջ։

«ՆԱՐՕՏ»ի տեսիլքն է հրամցնել օղահիւսք մը (network) Հայորդիներու, ուր պիտի հանդիպին քաղելու հոգեւոր, իմացական, նիւթական մշակոյթի մթերք։

«ՆԱՐՕՏ»Ը կը հովանաւորէ պարբերաթերթի հրատարակութիւն մը, ելեկտրոնային դրութեամբ, զետեղուած իր կայքէջին մէջ, «ՆԱՐՕՏ» անունով։ Իսկ նպատակն է մղել կարդացողները աւելի ծանօթանալու եւ խորանալու իմացական, կրօնաբարոյական եւ մշակութային արժէքներու։

In the past, the Mekhitarist Fathers and others who constructed the Armenian identity, used to live in isolation, sending from afar the necessary enthusiasm to the Armenian home. Presently, we live with advanced technology that unbelievably shrunk the size of the planet. We not only can communicate with someone who may live thousands of miles away from us, but we can also see him, via the computer, and talk to him, even for free. We live in a fast paced lifestyle. However, such technology has  indirectly become the enemy of man’s identity.

By taking advantage of modern day technology, Narot presents itself to the Armenian community to continue the mission that those previously had begun, in Armenian for the Armenian language. It is hard to understand, an international entity, such as UNESCO, that proclaimed that Western Armenian has become an endangered species of language, especially, when more than a million Armenians live in the USA. The reasons may be numerous, nevertheless, the most obvious is the lack of use of the language. Hovhanness Toumanian has said, “It is the language of every nation’s biggest proof of existence and being, the biggest mark of identity and genius, the magical key for its history and far past, the rich treasure of spiritual abilities, as well as the spirit and the psychology”.

“Narot” acknowledges its calling, which is, to present its website to the Armenian visitor its website in Armenian, for the Armenian language. The co-laborers of “Narot” have taken their mission very seriously. In addition, the “Narot” Organization has a higher and more serious calling, received from the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, that is the Great Commission. Therefore, we” have proposed a website next to the online periodical, as both a literary educational center and a center of spiritual Christian formation. The founders believe that any invention, whether human, philosophical, cultural, or even scientific inventions, has temporary value. However, the spiritual has everlasting value. But because we live in flesh, on earth and have a human, christian and national identity, the human invention such as technology has some value. Therefore, “Narot” has decided to use technology as a means to realize the Great Commission.
